Bedside Manor

Located in Central Maine close to Augusta and Waterville, and only an hour from Bangor, Portland and Midcoast Maine. We are 6 miles from Inland Hospital in Waterville, 10 miles from Maine General Thayer Campus in Waterville and 15 miles from Maine General Augusta Campus in Augusta.

You can find us down a fabulous long driveway nestled in the woods is where you will find our home, along with the birds chirping and singing from the trees. Our country setting is very tranquil for our residents yet very close to area hospitals, restaurants, shops, churches and parks.

Bedside Manor East
210 Country Club Road, Oakland, ME
This is our newest home facility located on the East side of Oakland Maine.

Not an Institution Our homes are small enough to ensure individualized memory care 24/7. Through our personal experience, we were able to construct and design our homes based on the needs and comfort that people with dementia deserve.

A Social and Stimulating Environment Dementia Research shows that individuals suffering from the disease have an increased progression caused from lack of mental and physical stimulation and social companionship. Our environment is designed to promote socialization, group and individual activities, and family style dinners at the farmhouse table. We also offer a salon area for individual pampering and also have special “days out” with our residents.

Home Safety and Security Many dementia patients develop a tendency to wander and explore their surroundings. With this in mind, we designed a secure outdoor area with a gazebo, walking paths, gardens and footbridge surrounded by attractive fencing and locked gates. Our Staff at Bedside Manor know the locations of our residents at all time.
