Bedside Manor Alzheimer's Care Facility

Welcome to the home built from love. Bedside Manor is a small 10-bed, private Alzheimer’s and dementia home located in the beautiful State of Maine. It was through our own personal experience with our mother’s diagnosis with Alzheimer’s disease that inspired and motivated us to create this wonderful home and loving atmosphere.

Alzheimer’s takes a toll not only on the individual but also their loved ones. We experienced the guilt, sadness, frustration and fear that all families experience and as heart breaking as it was to watch our mom’s frustration and battle against this awful disease, it also moved us to act and create something positive. We have no control over Alzheimer’s but we do have control over how these individuals are treated.

Bedside Manor is a non-institutional, secure home. We take care of each of our resident’s needs by providing activities, nursing services and personalized attention.

“I visited approximately 20 memory care facilities in several states. I chose Bedside Manor because of the small size, proximity to our home and the attitudes of the staff.” - Richard Meres
